An interactive session was held on BLC at Faqeer Colony, Karachi

Baloch Students Action Committee Karachi Zone organized an interactive session under the Baloch Literacy Campaign in Faqir Colony, comprising five segments:
1. Panel discussion
2.Tabluea
3.Speech
4.Documentary
5.A presentation on the Baloch Literacy Campaign Booklet

The first segment was a panel discussion that moderated by Zakria Baloch (Zonal President of BSAC Karachi Zone), addressed educational issues faced by students. The panelists included Peer Jan Baloch (Central Committee member of BSAC), Zeeshan Baloch (Zonal General Secretary of BSAC Karachi Zone), and Kamran Haider, a poet. During the discussion, they emphasized literacy as the ability to read and write in a language and highlighted the importance of international organizations such as UNESCO, which promote literacy as a fundamental human right. They pointed out that education is essential for understanding global and Baloch issues, addressing the educational gaps in Balochistan, and increasing awareness of education in Faqir Colony through campaigns like the Baloch Literacy Campaign.

The second segment was a tableau on education that was performed on the stage.

The third segment was a speech that focused on the Role of Women in Education in Baloch Society and was delivered by Banuk Nazia, a teacher. She emphasized that education is the process of acquiring knowledge, skills, and values, which helps individuals contribute to society. She highlighted the significance of women’s education, as it empowers them economically, socially, and politically. Educated women can support and guide child education and career counseling, a concept summed up by Napoleon’s famous quote: “Give me an educated mother, and I will give you a civilized and educated nation.” Because educated girls possess the knowledge and skills necessary to care for themselves and their children.

The fourth segment showcased a documentary made by Baloch Students Action Committee about Saba Dashtyari.

The final segment featured a presentation on the Baloch Literacy Campaign Booklet, followed by an overview presented by Hammal Baloch (Zonal Information Secretary of BSAC Karachi).
