A two-day festival “Buleda Literary Festival” concluded successfully in Kech’s Buleda.

The 2-day “Buleda Literary Festival” was organised by the Baloch Students Action Committee in the Kech’s Buleda area. The event was consisted of various segments which included Speeches on different topics including career counselling, panel discussions on the topics entitled Educational system of Baloch, and Economy of Baloch, Cultural segments including Folk stories, Nazenk (A type of praising  in Balochi/Brahui in favour of someone), Chaach, Idiomatic sayings, history quizzes, Introduction to date palm season, Artistic performances including Singing, live music performance, poetry and funny poetry, Balochi games, Drama, Dialogue, Poetry and Exhibitions including Stalls of Science, Art and Culture have also been featured in addition to the Book stall under the theme of Balochistan Kitab Karwan.

The festival commenced with the Raaji Saoth followed by the segments included in the event. Among the segments mentioned above there was a science presentation on different projects, a launching ceremony of organization’s booklets including Gaam and Introduction to Computer and the event featured an open mic session as well allowing the students from different schools and academics to ask questions. Additionally, a gaming competition was held featuring different traditional Balochi games such as Warri, Noh Gaddagi, Hasht chowki, Tillan Gowazi and Panchuki.

The festival was attended by people from various fields including teachers and students and the central representatives of the organization including Uzair Baloch and Balaach Baloch. The central representatives in speaking to the attendees stated that promoting educational festivals across Balochistan has always been the top priority of the organization, amid to creating an atmosphere of Knowledge and establishing national consciousness. So that the current and future generations might be inspired by these events and festivals in order to access the education and fully participate in the acts which are known to be the essential for the nation and the need of hour in the present day world and in future. Although, by doing so, they will be able to polish their abilities and strengthen their capacity and skills to promote the knowledge and education based on national consciousness ultimately achieving the end goal vis-à-vis the essentials of the nation.

Moreover, during the program, different speakers discussed various topics including Education, Politics, and Literature. They noted that like many other places Buleda has made significant strides in education because of the teachers, literary figures and students, who have become the undeniable source for bringing of consciousness and enlightenment. Today the said program, under the supervision of Baloch Students Action Committee with its watchword “Struggling For Knowledge and Unity” in practice, has successfully brought together the teachers, literary personalities and students to struggle for knowledge and enlightenment of the Baloch nation. It is because of these dedicated youths who are striving to unite the broken parts of this nation in strengthening and to take this national caravan some steps ahead.

Furthermore, an award ceremony segment was also featured in the event during which awards were presented to the participants including the teachers and students. The conclusion was made by the musical performance where singers including Imtiaz Baloch, Hameed Baloch and Wahab Baloch, with their melodious voices, performed the Balochi music including Balochi classical pieces.

We are grateful to all the educational institutions of Buleda who provided their full support by playing a crucial role in its success. A special thanks to High School Menaz Buleda, Sanj School Menaz, Gaam school Alandoor, Mehlab school Alandoor, Kalkashan School Alandoor, Gulbang School Bett Kour e Pusht, Ruzhn School Menaz, Taheer Somputer Center Bett Kor e pusht, Saach and Rahshon school including their respective teachers and students, whose participation was a huge inspiration for us to continue strengthening our festivals through such unity with unique segments which will pave the way for knowledge and consciousness.

The festival concluded after the smooth completion of all the segments on the second day.
