BSAC Organized various memorial sessions to honor Waja Mubarik Qazi

Baloch Students Action Committee

Baloch Students Action Committee organised a series of memorial sessions to commemorate the national figure Waja Mubarik Qazi, on his 3rd death anniversary, in various zones. These programs were organised to highlight the selfless services and dedication of the late Waja Mubarik Qazi for the nation and Baloch literature. His contributions, services, and dedication are well known throughout Baloch history, and acknowledging this very fact, the organisation organised many programs and events to honour his legendary contributions.

The memorial sessions were organised in Shaal, Turbat, Khuzdar, Karachi, Malir, Hub, Tandojam, Kalat, and other areas. Honouring Waja Qazi, two sessions were held in Shaal (Quetta), one at Bolan Medical College, and another was held at University of Balochistan Quetta. The students delivered speeches and poetry sessions were also performed. In the speeches, the life and legacy of Mubarak Qazi were thoroughly discussed, and a tribute was paid by lighting candles. Likewise, a program was held by the Turbat Zone, where different segments were performed along with a documentary film on his life and literary works, honouring and paying tribute to Qazi’s dedication. Furthermore, two sessions were organised by the BSAC Khuzdar Zone, where different segments were performed including speeches, biographical paper, and a documentary film. The program was also attended by Peer Jan Baloch, the Secretary General of the organisation.

Following the organisational announcement, BSAC Karachi Zone held a commemorative event paying tribute to Mubarik Qazi. The program was comprised of speeches, paper reading, a documentary, and a poetry session, and was attended by a large number of people and students. Moreover, a program was organised by the BSAC Hub Zone, and it was comprised of different segments including speeches on Qazi’s life and literary work, biographical paper, a documentary, and a poetry session attended by a number of people. Furthermore, a program was held in Malir by the BSAC Malir Zone; while tributing and honouring Mubarik Qazi, various literary segments were performed. These segments were comprised of speeches, paper reading on his literary contributions, and a poetry session along with candle lighting. Likewise, a program was held in Tandojam by the BSAC Tandojam Zone, where a speech was given on Qazi’s life and literary works, and a poetry session was also organised. Taking it further, a literary session was held in Kalat by the BSAC Kalat Zone to pay tribute to Waja Qazi.

All these programs were held by the BSAC to honour and pay tribute to Mubarik Qazi’s literary legacy, contributions, and dedication. His works were not limited to mere simple poetry, but he served the Baloch nation and its society. His poetry portrays a comprehensive picture of Baloch society and politically motivates and inspires the Baloch nation toward a well-managed society. He was not only a poet but a complete political figure, as he himself quoted, “My poetry books are political statements for the Baloch nation.”

We fully acknowledge his selfless contributions and literary works in our national literature. We also reaffirm our commitment to not only remember our national assets and figures, but to also pay tribute and honour their tireless contributions and dedication to literature by organising memorial events. We also acknowledge all of our legendary literary figures and ask all the writers and literary figures to contribute to the well-being of their nation and society.
