This survey presents the data collected from several government schools in Greshag, Khuzdar, highlighting widespread issues such as non-functional schools, lack of basic facilities, and the absence of teaching staff. While some schools may appear slightly better than others, overall conditions remain poor. Due to severe economic hardship and lack of transport and communication infrastructure, residents rely solely on government schools. Most institutions are non-operational primarily because of unappointed or absent teachers, and basic facilities like water, electricity, and washrooms are largely nonexistent. We, under the theme of our Educational campaign — The Baloch Literacy Campaign (BLC) — with the evidence available through our survey data, highlight an urgent need to address the severe educational inequalities in Greshag, Khuzdar, and the wider region. The critical shortages of infrastructure, teaching staff, and basic facilities must be promptly resolved to ensure students receive the education they deserve.
