Protests will be held all over Balochistan against the enforced Disappearance of Sohail and Fassieh Baloch.

Baloch Students Action Committee will be organizing protests throughout Balochistan over the two-year-long enforced disappearance of Sohail Baloch and Fassieh Baloch. Sohail and Fassieh Baloch; studyng Pakistan Study at University of Balochistan were forcibly disappeared from University premises. After staging a month long protest at University they were not released. Later protest was postponed due to surety of Balochistan Government official. Despite the government’s assurances, Sohail and Fassieh Baloch, who are two of thousands of victims of enforced disappearances across Balochistan, have not been brought to public attention, leading to worsening circumstances.
The educational institues have became a symbol of fear for students by facing profiling, harassment and being forci ly disappeared. Due to fear of being disappeared one day, the students live in trauma, they can’t study or participate in academic activities. They feel like they can not breath on their own land Balochistan. The forced disappearances of Baloch students are escalating rapidly, which is deeply concerning.
Sohail and Fassieh Baloch are still missing after two years. A three-days protest camp is being arranged at University of Balochistan. In continuous to protest campaign, protest will be expanded across all Balochistan, with protest rallies in various cities, including Turbat, Khuzdar, Panjgur, Karachi, Hub, and Uthal. These protests will span three days, with different time slots allocated for demonstrations in these cities.
The enforced disappearnce is a crime which must be stopped. The harassing and forcibly disappearing of Baloch students must be not practised any more.
