The Baloch Students Action Committee will welcome the new year by books and hosting book fairs throughout all Balochistan under the name “Balochistan Kitab Karwan” at the beginning of the new year. These book fairs are a gift for Baloch students, where the Balochistan Kitab Karwan will provide them with books that are hardly available in the general markets. The organization has searched and found new literature for Baloch students and prepared a list of selected books from various publishers, which will be available at the stalls. The Balochistan Kitab Karwan is one of the organization’s major programs, aimed at promoting a book culture in Balochistan and providing literature that meets current needs of Baloch students. In today’s world, where technology is rapidly advancing, young people are becoming distanced from books or are reading books that cannot address the current issues of the Baloch so we must come forward and look for the solution to promote books culture.
The purpose of these book fairs is to make Baloch youth aware of the importance and necessity of books. The goal is for young people to become familiar with the habit of reading, as this process helps develop self-confidence, perseverance, and the ability to analyze problems scientifically and theoretically, thus aiding in their solution. Baloch youth should make reading a part of their daily routine and study books that can lead them to a prosperous future and provide solutions to the current issues facing the Baloch nation.
